I’d love to be able to say I’m talking about myself when I use that phrase. Big Mike is well organised. Yep. That has a quite a ring to it. Sadly I don’t write fiction. But well organised is still the topic of this post.
Well organised, for me, means having things done before they are due. A feeling I don’t get very often. But a week and a half ago I got that warm feeling. Not warm and fuzzy. Just warm. Why?
According to the people who feed us all our day to day knowledge this August was the coldest on record. And I tend to agree. I’ve never been one for acting sensibly and that includes checking outside the front door to assess the temperature before making my clothing selection for the day. Too easy, but too much effort. So I spent a lot of August feeling a little cold.
Then along comes August 29 and all of a sudden I’m sweating. Apparently spring arrived a couple of days early. How’s that for well organised? So according to the Bureau of Meteorology August around here had an average minimum temperature of 6.9⁰C (44⁰F) while the first week of September has returned a much more acceptable 14.8⁰C (58⁰F).
I’m so happy that winter hasn’t been stubborn and spring was so well organised this year.
